The staff at AffinityOne are the only reason this gets two stars. And by staff, I mean the housing staff. The TCC program affiliated with AffinityOne is so poorly run. FML and disability paper work is delayed for weeks sometimes over a month leaving clients in bad financial situations and at risk of losing their jobs. Mine was so messed up it was going to take months to fix so I gave up. Clients constantly have issues with getting medications. Psych is usually scheduled days before you leave the program and sometimes after,... read more
Been there!!! Nice facility, good food, good ‘community’ of others. Counseling sucks!!!!! It’s like watching paint dry! Phones taken away- none of the activities/things they promised. Order dinner out one night? Asked to cook our own food instead for 30 people- one small stove, no pots and pans or utensils to cook with. Activities? Out to the movies…. Bowling????🤣🤣🤣🤣 Instead they offered to drop us at a park on a 95 degree day, many with health issues or just old! We’re told they were ‘understaffed’. If we all didn’... read more
Wow is an understatement. As someone who has worked and continues to work in recovery DO NOT. COME HERE unless you literally have no other choice. I personally witnessed multiple people get kicked to the curb even tho they say they do not do that in the comment rebuttals on the google review page. ALL they care about is the insurance payouts. The director is soulless. She has ZERO regard for anyone’s safety or recovery. There were a few wildly startling incidents that I witnessed happen here but don’t want to blow up other p... read more
I don't recommend this place, my son was here and he never seen a medical doctor, there was no follow up care, no one ever checked his blood pressure, there were fights and it was like being in the streets, my son went to rehab on his own, was told the minimum he had to stay there was 2 weeks, which he did, he was not even given a letter to return to work, it's just not much supportive aftercare, his union referred him there, and I will be notifying them to take this place off of their list. Very disappointed 😞
Currently being treated at another facility and it has made me realize how traumatic my experience was here. The therapists and techs were helpful and tried their best when they could. Unfortunately I was racially profiled and bullied by other residents throughout my entire month long stay here. All staff and therapists agreed it was unacceptable yet the directors didn’t seem to care about a black woman being targeted and bullied for weeks on end. I know the area isn’t known for being super inclusive but at the end of the da... read more
